Whitney Museum and CARA Experience
Whitney Museum" Source: Whitney Museum"
One of the most exciting museums in New York that brought new things to learn about art. Which is the Whitney Museum. The Whitney Museum brought paintings and sculptures which were mostly more inspiring. During the Museum, there was an outside experience since feature sculptures and some sculptures show a contemporary form, which brings more interest too. It also features some digital creations that bring exciting things and some featuring Photography and Videos. That shows the poses and also the reactions during the carriage. But shows the definition of art and how it is offered to the viewers. But also, most notably, the Whitney Museum shows how art is being defined and shows the audience how the artists are developing things right now and with digital creation. Through my experiences in both museums, I learned about the different art designs provided during the Whitney. Also, the CARA explains the videos of how people show the poses in the art. And my opinions about how is my experience in both locations.
Whitney Museum brings different art designs, which show the sculptures designed by the artists that made them and the paintings and images from artists that illustrate the art. The Whitney Museum shows positive and negative pictures, providing design details and offering textures.
Before and Art Andy Warhol 1962
This design by Andy Warhol shows an acrylic paint design, according to the Whitney Museum. This painting talks about an identity design for post-World War II America. But also tells us that Warhol was mainly dissatisfied with his nose. Which mostly got into Andy Warhol making this nose design. Warhol painted them in an opaque project on an enlarged canvas with his hands. But also shows the brush in each variation of the subject. But this design reminds me of an imagery painting, in which, mainly in imaging, you can do edits with a liquify tool, which brings into a perfect nose design.
Young Shadows Louise Nevelson 1960
This design provided them with a wood design, which the artist painted. But this design looks like it was equipped with fabrication due to the wood. But also shows one color in the design, which looks like the artists wanted to give a one-color art. But also shows how the sculpture is being formed with only one color.
Strike Hank Willis Thomas 1976
Sculptural art with steel. Which features a pose of art. However, according to the artist, the design was made for historical art, Which defines a black worker trying to resist the nightstick from the police officer. This design mostly features justice, but Thomas asks the viewers how justice is extracted and where they see themselves in this act of resistance. Which mostly shows how people can try to defend something in a danger like this.
Family Tree II, Sadie Barnette 2022
Art that features all the art including photography, painting, drawing, and sculptural object. Which this art defines how are the artist which according the artist there is statement provided about why the artist did this art about the family that"I've always been one to witness, to hang back and observe, and therefore appreciate the beauty, poetry, hilarity, and style of my family. Our differences all come together under one roof or at one barbecue and those are some of the most beautiful moments". Which this art sees how the artists brought one thing that is related to family and bring it to the art to show the defining and th meaning on how the artists wants to show about her family in art.
See Alice Jump Henry Taylor 2011
This painting features the colors in the design, which shows the details of how the picture is provided. As you can see, they show the details in the sky, which looks like it's providing a color theory technology. As you can see, it offers a half-dark blue and a lighter blue. However, the painting shows a track and field legend, Alice Coachman, who set a record in the high jump at the 1948 London Olympic Games and became the first Black woman to win an Olympic gold medal. This painting shows an achievement art that honors Alice Coachman for making history. But this painting does offer a realistic design, like a photography design, that shows details about the person and how the person can be in the photoshoot.
After the Whitney Museum, the Cara experience brought something for the art, conveying how the performance is provided and the art is being shown. The CARA, also known as the Center for Art, research, and Alliance, gave us a show to watch. But they are also providing books for people to read. The people I met were fascinating since, most importantly, I met Rahul Gudipudi, who explained how the performance art is being provided and gave us details on how the actors show their performance. One art video, "A Plot, A Scandal," shows the poses from the version and how the figures show the dance with the music included. According to CARA, it tells us about specters of history and embodied memory. But also displays the tropes of racialization, which features how this art is offered from different types of countries and poses social threats. But gives us an exploration of humanity and liberation, which defines freedom from any violence and provides this art with a message that shows what the figures are trying to tell the people.
This was an excellent experience for both art museums, which shows how the art is being provided and how both the design and the digital bring. The Whitney got more interest, and the reason why is because it features how the art becomes realistic, which shows how the artist provided the materials, for example, the paint, video graphics, and photographs. Some photographs were exciting and showed the contrast and the abrastation provided. The way the artists provided the photography, the shots are obvious, and what type of art it is. Some images provided poses, too, where the person needs to pose these shots and show how clear the picture is by seeing what needs to be shown in the art with the photography art. The videos show how the sounds must be delivered and how the film will show. Since the art shows the film how the actors need to act and pose but also defines what the video is about, Whitney does show videos from the past from artists that show what the video is and how the video is bringing the definition. The art video shows if it shows entertainment or different acts in the art. Which mainly the Whitney Museum mainly shows what art is. They bring the painting that details the art, demonstrates how the figure is being offered, and explains what it shows depending on how the image is displayed. The paintings from the Whitney Museum show the details, for example, what the figure is shown, how the background is shown, and how there is more definition in the painting. CARA brings up how the video is offered and how the sound is being delivered, which mainly shows the actors playing in the video, mostly like performance art. Since the actors bring the pose and show what this performance art is talking about, for example, one of them shows how the song shows and how the dance needs to show, which mainly brings the details. The performance art shows how the film is leading into the art.
After everything,, this was a great experience to see how the Whitney Museum and CARA bring but shows how artists bring this and lead for an exhibition which mostly brings things to understand for people to see how this art is being offered. But most importantly, artists want to get details to see what art it is which the Whitney museum brings any type of art which brings definition for the art. But for CARA it only shows performance art that brings how the art needs to be provided. Which these experience brings learning to see how the artists bring the material to de their art and see why they decided to do that. Which mostly brings something for audience to see something in the art by most importantly learning what this art brings and show the details and the form for the art.
